I am starting a new series in my blog called “Featured Client”. The reason is to single out window cleaning clients of mine that I find exceptional for one reason or another.
To start off, the first client that came to mind was Piano Cafe in Port Perry.
What made me think of Piano Cafe first is that I do not have any “dramatic before and after” pictures to share with you. Would you like to know why? It is because Christy (the owner), has such a high standard of cleanliness that her windows are never dirty! We clean the windows every week, like clockwork. They barely have a chance to get a little dirt on them before we show up, and shine them again.

That attention to detail and cleanliness is not only on the outside. From the immaculately maintained dining area, to the open kitchen, Christy makes sure that the Piano Cafe is spotless. And that is attracting customers like crazy!
Ok, enough about cleaning….
Piano Cafe was recently renovated in the winter of 2017/2018. The update did not take away from the historical charm of this building, but maintained it’s rich history while adding a modern flair.
This is one of the aspects of Piano Cafe that I find so compelling. Christy has mastered the art of balance. Not only can you enjoy a modern culinary experience in a historical heritage building, but the same passion shows in the service and menu.
The service/servers are as professional as you would expect in any fine dining establishment, yet the food is down to earth,

made from scratch, tastes like Mom’s, cooking. With favorites like Gourmet Grilled Cheese Sandwiches to Mac and Cheese Thursdays, you will experience high class service with down home food. The best of both worlds.
And, plenty of gluten free options available.
As a window cleaner in Port Perry, I did not think to take pictures of the dining area. Sorry! However, from what I have seen, if the sun is out, you should probably make a reservation. The Piano Cafe is PACKED for lunch and early afternoon.
Don’t live in Port Perry? It is a lot closer than you might think. Located just 30 minutes from the 401, the Historic Downtown Port Perry is a nice short drive for the eastern GTA.
After lunch at Piano cafe, why not stroll Queen street? Browse antiques at Caviar and Cobwebbs, head to the water and enjoy a hand made Ice Cream at Perfect Scoop?

If you are REALLY lucky, you might be able to get a spot on Piano Cafe’s little patio.
While the food might taste “Like Mom Made”, I must be honest. My Mom never made me an “Applewood Smoked Bacon, Pear and Baked Brie Focaccia” Sandwich. But, you can tell tell that everything at Piano Cafe is made fresh and just for you when you order.
Piano Cafe can be found at the corner of Perry St. and Queen St. in Historic Port Perry.
The address is 217 Queen St. Port Perry
Piano Cafe is open from 11am to 3pm Monday to Thursday, and 11am to 4pm Friday to Sunday. (I hope I have that correct!)
